Description

Reverberation Test Systems


The Reverberation Test System with high speed and high accuracy measurement performance exceeds other available test systems on the market. The Bluetest RTS chamber emulates a rich and isotropic multipath environment. The device under test is exposed to many simultaneous incident waves from uniformly distributed directions. This behavior in the RTS has the advantage that tests like TRP and TIS can be performed faster than any today existing technology, with very high accuracy and repeatability. The environment created in the chamber also allows for very fast MIMO measurements (active or passive) without any expensive or complex extra equipment. The new RTS replaces the discontinued HP700 system, which can be upgraded to achieve RTS performance.

 

The RTS6 and the RTS9 series of systems are equipped with a completely new developed concept of mode stirring that gives the system a highly increased accuracy especially in the lower specified frequency bands. The system is also equipped with a completely new electronic control system that makes an upgrade to active MIMO capabilities very easy.The installed Bluetest system has a very small footprint meaning that the system is small and can be easily placed at any location in the lab or office and is easily movable to a new place without any changes in the building, which allows for easy access to the user.

 

The RTS6 and RTS9 systems are cost effective low maintenance systems due to the fast measurements and the extremely simple wideband calibration, which can be performed in 15 minutes by the operator. The fast tests, the high accuracy and the small size mean that the total cost of ownership is dramatically decreased.

    RTS60 Series

    The RTS60 is a high performance system that meets the requirements on accuracy, repeatability, high speed measurements and active MIMO measurements. The superior mode stirrer and measurement antenna concept is installed as a standard in the RTS60 system which enables for more accurate measurements due to the creation of a fading environment. The shielding of the chamber is >100 dB which makes the measurement results stable, repeatable and insensitive from external interference.

    RTS90 Series

    RTS90 is a larger chamber that allows for measurements on lower frequencies (Starting from 400MHz to 6000MHz). The RTS90 is a high performance system that meets the requirements on accuracy, repeatability, high speed measurements and active MIMO measurements. The superior mode stirrer and measurement antenna concept is installed as a standard in the RTS90 system which enables for more accurate measurements due to the creation of a fading environment. The shielding of the chamber is >100 dB which makes the measurement results stable, repeatable and insensitive from external interference.

    The range of software for active device measurements includes now well-established measurement parameters such as TRP and TIS, as well as parameters with a recent strong focus within the industry such as IP and MAC layer throughputs.

    Passive Measurement

    Measurement algorithms and calculations implemented in the Bluetest measurement software are developed in cooperation with world leading experts on small antennas, diversity, and MIMO.
